PAPI PEP

I bought this card for a bit of fun a few weeks ago, picking the mid pep as his stats seemed more appealing than that of the base. I went into a game and to say the least i was suprised. I bought him fro roughly 170k and to me that could even be considered a bargain, his defending is simply incredible, being able to move at good pace with a shadow top cut passing lanes and make beautiful challenges. The defending is not the only strong point of this card. This man never seems to misplace a pass, and very suprisingly, is a solid dribbler of the ball as well, making him the almost perfect cdm. He is defensively excellent and do not be put off by the looks of the stats, with great links, and great gameplay, behind the stats guadiola is an absolute gem of a defensive midfielder.

What a Goat

In this FIFA more than any other I've played passing is one of the most important stats. Pep Guardiola fits that mold exactly. His unique body type gives him some neat animations when winning the ball back. He doesn't feel too clunky on the ball, his control is good enough and his high reactions/composure means he can move the ball on easily when he has it. His pace has also never been an issue. If you keep him on stay back he'll never be in a situation when he'll have to outrun someone. In the situations I've used him in the dribbling has never been an issue. Next his defending. He honestly feels better than Kante. His positioning is excellent and the medium-high work rates means he's always ready to defend. His tackling is top class and has never been an issue for me. Finally, his passing. This card has some of the best passing in the game for a defensive midfielder. He's able to ping passes across the field, whip a trough ball between defenders, and control the midfield. He's the best defensive midfielder I've used all year and for 130k he's a bargin
